For a number of years Allied Window has performed energy-payback calculations using its Energy Savings, Payback and ROI Analysis. This survey format utilizes National Oceanic, Atmospheric Administration, and ASHRAE charts. Additionally, it has been reviewed and authenticated by a number of energy management engineers and consultants. The survey requires a qualitative assessment of the existing window system. It provides approximate energy-savings payback and return on investment for any particular storm window system being considered.
